This training course is for those adults not wanting to be career electricians but are required to undertake some basic electrical works in a domestic setting as part of their main job role.
Part P regulations requires some, but not all electrical work to be notified to Building Control, therefore, not all electrical work needs to be carried out by a registered electrician.
It can be carried out by anyone, especially other trades-people as supplementary to their main role. This type of work is referred to in Part P as ‘non-notifiable work’. Examples of ‘non-notifiable work’ could include:
